no installation canidate. i figure out that what i need is the Multiverse Repository, because unrar nonfree was made for Ubuntu and i cant add the Multiverse Repositories to my Debian, because Ubuntu is not Debian. fine
so i figure out at some point that Debian likes you to call it unrar, not unrar-free. Fine

seems like im very close to my seemingly modest goal of unraring .rar archives, and ive hit a dead end.
surely this doesnt mean i cant open .rar archives in Debian right? or will i have to learn to compile my own libc_2.4? any help would be appreciated
obviously im a noob but usually i can figure things out eventually. now, im at a loss.
